First-Ever rising star award goes to 27names member

Some people bring events to life on site. Tea Čapko gives them life before they even exist.

We’re very proud to celebrate Tea from our Croatian member agency Alert, who has been named the first-ever Rising Star at the UNICORN AWARDS.
Introduced this year, the Rising Star Award recognizes young talent already making a tangible contribution to projects, teams and agencies, and the people with the potential to help shape the future of our industry.

Tea is a perfect example.

Working largely behind the scenes as Alert’s Video, Motion and AI specialist, she brings together 3D, engineering, video, motion, visualization, branding and AI to turn ideas into something teams can actually see, understand and improve before an event ever reaches execution.

𝐀𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐭: “𝐈 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬.”

And while AI is often framed as a threat to creative roles, Tea sees it very differently: as a brilliant assistant that works with her, opening up new possibilities and allowing her to push ideas further.

For someone used to being “at the back of the stage,” being recognized on the actual stage meant something: “𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳-𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺.”

That ambition doesn’t stop with her own career. Tea hopes to mentor others who want to grow in this part of the industry, sharing what she knows and opening doors for the talent coming next.

Developing and recognizing the next generation of talent is something we care deeply about at 27Names. Now in its fourth year, our Talent X program has brought together more than 120 talents from across our European network to learn from one another, build new skills and connections, and grow within our industry.

So seeing one of our own recognized as the very first UNICORN Rising Star feels particularly special.

Congratulations, Tea. The very deserving first Rising Star, and we suspect far from the last time we’ll see you on stage 👏
